I'm looking for a multi effects pedal, i have a boss me70 but it doesn't give me what i really want. I saw the vox se/le and it seems like its a foot pedal version of the old ad120vth head. Is this true? and has anybody ever used them? Which is better and why? Also if you have ANY other recommendations that would help!
The tone I'm after is a nice warm tubeish tone but with the ability to go really clean or really dirty (I know I'm asking for a tube tone from a solid state pedal thing , but from what i see doesn't the tube in the so/le give it a tubeish tone?) I mostly play punk like sum 41 and old green day but I also play stuff like Van Halen, GnR, Led zepp, and others from that era.
