  • Mesa Nomad help

I have a Mesa Nomad 100 combo that channel one just went from half volume and hissing. A local tech here could not figure it out. Has new tubes, the tube sockets are ok. He says he replaced a relay but still did not fix it. Six months later I got my amp back and now channel one just hisses. Oh I changed the volume and gain pots before I had him look at it. Any mesa owners run into this? I like the amp but I"m wondering if its worth the dollars to ship this heavy beast from Houston to Mesa. Last word the amp tech said to me was that the circuit board was probably bad. I'm considering just trying to sell it this way or trading it off. I know its not a very popular amp.....but do any of you guys think its a keeper and just fix it? If somebody knows a fix other than a circuit that would be great.

Probably the best way to go save the receipt for the repair and stick it in a baggie and lay it in the amp and sell it before it goes down again.
