I'll be getting my first tube amp within the next two years this amp will be perfect for me over the 6505 112 because it has a power sponge to take it down to 1 watt :O i'm guessing it should still be a tube amp?
can't wait!!!!!

Sounded awesome yesterday - there was a guy dropping all the EVH riffs and licks on it. My back cringed when I saw it though and I flashed back to the 5150 combo from years back and the insane weight.
I've got the block letter sitting in a stand in my living room with a THD hotplate sucking all the tone out of my signal. Can't wait to check out the new release. Thanks for the heads-up!
I have some pix of it from NAMM. It is adjustable from 1-50w and does indeed have reverb. I'll post pix soon. They had it there in black as well as white tolex.
have you considered the Laney Ironheart? 3 channels, boost, reverb, built-in attenuator down to 1 watt. Might save you a few bucks over the EVH too. Other guitarist in my band has been using one for about a year now
At one point I was there at the Jackson booth which is right next to EVH. There was a guy there noodling on it using the black/yellow EVH MIM Strat and I thought it sounded good. Granted it was sort of in the background and I didn't hear any controls being tweaked but whatever settings it was on sounded good to me
