  • 1983 Marshall amp 5110

Found this today pretty sweet sounding for a SS Marshall.
Price was right and looks pretty cool with some age on it.
Could drop a cool Cyg tube amp in the cab.LOL

LOL, casters for a SS combo? I doubt that speaker is that heavy!

Oh hell yes make a Cyg out of it!
Some people don't like the G12M70, but that is exactly what
I settled on for my own (one and only) Cygnus porch weasel combo.

It's the only Cygnus amp I've never sold, and never will sell.
      It's #1.
      Or thereabouts.
      Probably version 7 of #1.

Let me know if you want to do it!

Its not worth a whole lot as is so why not make it a tube amp?
Hit me up with ideas Kevin.
The guy put casters on it because he has a bad shoulder.
The casters are going on my Marshall 2X12 diagonal cab.

Depends on how much you want to spend or trade, stray.
Absolutely of of the Cygnus circuits.
Anything from 7 watts (discontinued for now) to 40 watt.
I have old stock transformers pulled from a Hammond organ that
would make a killer 20 watt.
          2x6V6.
          Medium high gain.

I can't see the ohms on that speaker.
          What is it?

            Its a 4 ohm speaker.
20 or 40 is OK with me
