Found out why Mrs. Cygnus was so antsy.
Our son works in the same steel mill I do, on the steelmaking side.
(I'm in the rolling mill, where we actually make the stuff you see).
He had a hilarious tale of guys getting an electrical powered cart stuck near the
      800 degree SLAG PIT area.
He was taking lunch, and as they frittered and fluttered he jumped on a forklift
and extracted the stinking mess out before anything else happened.
      The kid saved the day!
They actually got the electric cart working again while his young team mate
continued to take an hour long lunch.

I kept telling him to go to school, but he got it in his head that he needed
a "real job", and college could come later after he had some experience.

I'll do some clips of the amp.
My playing kind of gets in the way though...

This is where it gets REALLY silly.
It will wipe off with the right chemicals. or just slap a faceplate over it!

                Thanks, I thought it sucked!

                Sound clips ensuing.
This one is simply to check for clean sustain.
There is obviously no music here.

Checking for "artifacts" or odd sounds as clean notes fade.
                I think it passes!

30 watt Orpheus #2 built for Straycat at JCF. Retrofit into a SS Marshall combo. Test is through 5150 cab at 4 ohms.

Set to just about breaking up.
Bridge + neck pickup vol and tone all dialed back a bit.

And, a clip with the gains maxed on the same LP, bridge position full and tone full.
It will naturally get more gain with a higher output pickup.

                          It's now boxed up!
                          Coming to you you tomorrow!
I forgot the $2.00 IEC cord!
                          Sorry!

                          Your choice...FedEx, UPS, or Postal.
                          Wait.
I hate UPS (United Package Smashers)...
Either Fedex or Postal is fine by me.

                            And...I never saw the back.
But if it was closed-cab you better hack a vent in it.
22" x 12" ought to be big enough.

                              Forgot the spare goodies too!
                              Fuggett, I know your address.
I used some old vintage Sylvania 12AX7A (7025) tubes for the preamp.
                              GT 12AT7 for the PI.
                              Two USA 6L6GC for power.
They look like GE brand, not sure but they sound great.

Ok sounds good, I already set out few extra goodies you might be able to use.I'll pack them in the case somewhere or in the big box I should have room.
I have a spare power chord around here somewhere.
I will be shipping via USPS so if you want use them that fine with me Not much on UPS either.
Fed Ex is ok too just let me know.
Its an open back cab so no problem.
