  • Dominger Pickups

If you guys are looking for some new pickups, check out Dominger Pickups out of Cali. I have custom 58, kind of duncan 59'ish with tons of clarity and a RAW, like a duncan distortion, with more bite and clarity. They will hand wind anything you want. Great customer service also. I guarantee you will hear more about these guys. They are cheap right now so get em while you can. These are not GFS cheapie either, great quality and boutique sound. I'm ordering another set soon. Blows my seymour's out of the water. The use some kind of asymmetrical pole positioning technique. They really open up your amp. Check em out.

BTW they are a small company so it takes awhile, because they actually wind to order. Takes about a week and half for each set, for me anyway. I'm really diggin these, you won't be disappointed if you check em. I ordered mine on ebay and the guy that makes them, Joce Dominger, replies to you directly and everything. Cool guy too.

Sounds like a great operation. Borrowing from Bill Lawrence. They make
everything to order, so there's no excess inventory hanging around...

Seymour Duncan will hand wind anything you want in their custom shop, too.
Seymour, as well as DiMarzio, use asymmetrical designs. Just saying...

Right but you pay cs prices, these are half of what SD charges. The clarity is unreal on these, very open. I'm still a duncan fan boy, but I think it's cool to try and give these guys a shot. Joce Dominger is a super cool guy. They will also do wood tops. I just received my RAW model with limba coil tops. I'll post a few pics when I get a chance.
