The producer of our next album re-amped the bass with a Peavey 5150 and it sounds insane, so I tried it in the rehearsal room last night. This was above my expectations. If you play bass in an extreme metal band, this is what you need! You do need a basscab, because guitarspeakers don't like the frequencies. You can use the gain as your EQ.
