How bizarre. I don't recall these units coming with a factory-included surge surpressor. I'm guessing the guys at ART never had a brownout, blackout, or spike?

These were designed to be in a rack from day one.
They were supposed to power up with the whole rack. (via a rack mounted power distribution switch)
One of the things I hated about some rack gear that used "soft" switches for on/off.-RickComment
