  • Marshall Limited Edition 1962 Bluesbreaker

Marshall have finally released only 50 units worldwide of these HW built 1962 flat front 2X12" Bluesbreaker combos.
Anderton's Music in the UK reviewed one and getting it unpacked was a major deal. I did notice the inner box had a ding in it as I found with one of my HW 4X12" cabs, now long ago sold!
Our friends Captain Lee and Chappers of Anderton's Music demo the limited edition BluesBreaker 1962 Combo.
Marshall have appeared to have done a good job, though notice a tear in the inner box..typical Marshall!

Wish they had really cranked as did Clapton whom they heavily reference and used a Dallas Arbiter Rangemaster treble booster with it, but oh well!

Yeah, there was talk of this amp over on MyLesPaul forum. Disappointing that they didn't crank that thing up and get it to break up or slam the front end with a pedal. I didn't notice the packing but I do know from my own experience that Marshall packs the 4x12 cabs very poorly! I had to send back 2 of the limited edition white Randy Rhoads 4x12's because the back of the cabs are right up against the inside of the flat cardboard wall. Anything that tears that area also pokes a hole/tear in your tolex. You'd think they'd put some padding there especially shipping them from overseas and then getting trucked for delivery.
