In this case, two 8 ohm cabs in series would be a 16 ohm load, so while it's not ideal, it's not going to blow anything up. Even a tube amp will be okay if you run a higher impedance cab than recommended but it might lower the volume, and alter the tone somewhat. The OPs amp is actually pretty clearly labelled compared to some amps as far as what you can plug into it.

Well after some very "Tedious" searching I FINALLY found the Matching Angled Top Cab (Black Tolex with White Piping & 4 Jags!!) to go with my Bottom Cab so now my Stack will be 100% complete from the 80's! It's in Killer Condition being 25+ years old! Pics to follow next week when it gets here...\m/

        Glad to see you managed to find an angled Jag loaded cab for your rig! I was starting to think you were going to fly out to Cali and strongarm me outta mine...lol! That rig is going to scream. I've never set mine up as a full stack, I'd imagine that thing could do some serious damage with that cab up at ear level!!

          LOL! Yeah I did some MAJOR searching for this Angled Cab because I wanted it all to match & I got very lucky! I found one in great condition & now I have all 8 Jags! They are getting harder to find for sure. I am with you 100% that this Stack is probably going to do some Massive Screaming! LOL! My Cab has been shipped & should be here on Wednesday! Pics will Definitely follow!

                    Nice! Randall does make great cabs. I've got a 1x15/2x12 that actually looks like a 4x12. It's got Eminence Legend speakers which sound pretty damn good.
