    Upgrade?

Are you looking at a rack or floor processor?
Do you use distortion and modulation, or just time-based FX?

To be honest what I want I can't find in anything out there. I'm happy with my ADA MP-1 so I'm ok with the clean and distorted preamp tones without needing a modeling processor... so all I need is a transparent processor that lets me have several effects pre or post the preamp at a time (no tone sucking 4CM connection). If the 4CM is not posible than a good and flexible unit for effects it's what I need with MIDI conection. I don't understand how for example the Digitech 1101 can only have 1 modulation per patch combined by a delay and a reverb.

It can be rack or floor and if the the effects can spillover the next patch even better!

Dont care for it since it only can use 1 effect at a time.

if you already have an iPad, the Digitech iPB-10 might be good. A friend has one & it's a versatile unit. You can turn off the modelling & just use it for fx. 4CM & can shift fx before or after the loop

The tc stuff is pretty solid. A g minor wouldn't be bad either. The TC floorboard of effects only or the The TC one isn't a bad option too.

I believe this unit will only work with the old 30 pin connector iPads and not the lightning connector models. Not 100% sure though.

                            couple of 100 bucks?

                            New:
                            Rocktron Xpression
Digitech GSP1101 (if you bypass the ampsims, it still is a good fx unit)

apart from that, maybe an old TC G-force

                              1) The 1101 has the problem that only 1 modulation effect at a time .... not that I'm an effects freak but I might want something that I wont be able to do someday.

                              2) Now looking at the Xpression and the Replifex manuals... are they the same but with the Xpression having cab simulation????

                              3) G-Force I think I won't find one at the price I can afford.
