I believe this unit will only work with the old 30 pin connector iPads and not the lightning connector models. Not 100% sure though.

yea, I don't know about that. He already had an iPad (possibly a 2?). Don't know if it works with the latest one.

Well besides that I just notice something.... IT DOESN'T HAVE MIDI!!!! my god the review was going soooo good utill that!

I thought MIDI was only a requirement if you couldn't 4CM the unit. Sorry.

Have you looked at the TC Electronic Nova System? You might pick one up in your price range. It has MIDI.

Save your pennies and get a used Axe FX Ultra. It will literally do everything you want and you'll be able to ditch your MP-1. 4CM? No problem. Multiple modulation effects? No problem. Spillover? No problem.

I used to have an 18 space rack rig (modded MP-1, Mesa Quad, Eventide Eclipse, TC Electronics G-Force, switching system, cab simulators, etc.) and I was able to replace it all with a single Axe FX Ultra. My new rig is simple, tiny and incredibly flexible.

The Axe FX is the only modeler that has felt like a real amp to me. I loved my MP-1s to death (I had 3 of them) but the Axe FX changed all that.

Find a used TC Electronics Nova System. Solid. Love mine. Got rid of the line 6 stuff because it never got used.
The Boss GT 8/10/100 are as versatile as they get. They have relays to control channel changes on 2 channel amps. Beat my GT8 to death from overuse.
Got the Nova System. Gave up a lot of routing and function features. But the tone is so worth it. Great sound. And it doubles for recording my 5 string direct.
