My Roland FC-300 totally meets my needs currently and it has 2 built in controllers, with toe switches.

That's the only beef I have with the X-15 - no toe switch for Wah, so if you're in a patch that has it, you have to set the board to Effect On/Off mode. But then, you won't accidentally smash the switch if you get crazy with the treadle, either.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

Mine shit the bed yesterday. I was downloading the new firmware, and got the dreaded "all lights on - blank screen". FUCK! Locked up.
Fractal was quick to get back to me though (fried EPROM), and got me on track with a part I need replaced, and directions on how to do it. Hope it's the answer - a $1 part.
Sure makes me nervous though. Glad I have my Kemper still - it's funny too, cuz I just told a buddy of mine yesterday that I was going to put it up for sale. Really re-thinking that now.

Sorry to hear that Chris. There have been a few people experience bad updates and I've seen people have the issue since before I bought mine. Apparently if you leave the MFC hooked up while doing the firmware update it can cause issues. I always make sure I don't have any software running other than Fractal bot when doing the updates. I've updated my firmware at least 7 times since buying it with no issues so far.
The nice thing about the boot EPROM is that once you have it, you are able to use it again if you have future issues. For a dollar it would be nice if it was built in and you could just flip a switch to activate it.GTWGITS! - RacerX

Yeah but if it bakes due to an electrical issue, that's another....dollar
And that's cool to know about the bias settings, but how accurately is that modeled? Granted no one's going to spend a lot of time with an expensive Marshall head and dick with the bias just to build a computer sim of it, or to test the accuracyI want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

I can imagine the forums lighting up:
"the way-too-hot bias settings are close but just don't authentically capture my tone during the 30 seconds of playing time I had before my real SLO100 fused into a solid lump of metal and glass. FAIL!"Hail yesterday
