Hey guys, I haven't been on here much in the past couple of years or so because my job situation changed and I am no longer able to spend as much time on the internet as I used to. I gave up the "Big Boy" office job to persue Audio Engineering full time. Last year I found a home at Hemispheres Recording and have been so busy it has been insane! But back to the point. My boss, James Lugo, put the word out that he was going to do another Amp Fest and the people and vendors stepped up and delivered the goods!
Players include: Ola England, Bruce Bouillet, Todd Stricklin, James Lugo, Andy Wood, Currie Clayton, and TJ Faucette.
Each amp clip's sigal chain is as follows:
A 4x12 with Mesa v30's, a MD421 on one speaker and a SM57 on another, each mic into a Neve 1073 preamp with eq off, into an SSL 6048 where it is summed into one sigal, and into pro tools as one track. Left and Right tracks were recorded seperatly where applicable.
