It has become my all-time favorite MXR pedal. I'm very conservative with it, just a little bit of echo and a nice smooth delay will get me that warm textured sound.

I haven't tried it in the loop. It's powered with a Voodoo Power 2 Plus and it's in front of my amp. Guitar>tuner>delay>amp and it hasn't added any noise. Not in the Mesa or the Splawn.

Yeah that's how I feel about it. The closer I stay to my amp's natural sound the better I play and the more dynamic the tone is.

Something like a TC spark drive would be good because it has great tone controls and a 3 way switch (fat/clean/mid) for quick character changes. You could set it for a subtle boost, or none at all, and just use it for a pre-eq. And you have the option of exploring the gain apocalypse by diming the gain and volume controls with the amp also cranked.
I'm on their site watching a demo video of the spark. Very cool pedal!

You should definitely try the CC in the loop. Best delay pedal I've heard. Have one next door I can use whenever I need. I still love by Biyang too. Surprisingly, sounds very similar..

I will definitely try it. Are you guys using it just for solo's or full time in your rig? Share some pedal settings if you can, I can't get enough of this delay.
