I called on Saturday about the Austin GC Competition. It's a 2011 model and the guy confirmed the description; that it's in great shape. I also scout that site for JVM heads.

But..... I think I'll hold out for a Quick Rod and I also don't have a line on a Splawn cab at the moment. I would love for a Quick Rod half stack to come up for grabs.

The cabs are nothing special. I had a 212 w/Small Blocks. I'll take a Marshall with Greenbacks over that one any day of the week.

Thanks. That really is a great deal. But...... I'm pretty firm about buying from a place with a return policy. I've never plugged into a Splawn in my life, and I'll be buying it based on videos and the advice of other people. So if for any reason it doesn't live up to my expectations, I don't want the hassle of having to deal with selling it, haggling over price, etc....
