Hafler triple giant?

Does anyone here have or played one. I hear a lot of mixed reviews. I realize it's not a $2000+ bogner but it sounds pretty good from the clips I heard. How hard is it to upgrade or have someone upgrade the "cheap" parts.

I've played a couple and liked them a lot. I have a Hafler Hellrazor witch is the striped down version of the Triple Giant. It also sounds great.

The shark channel is a bit fizzy, the brown won't give you over the top distortion, but both are pretty solid and usable
the clean, I consider the best of all the preamps I have
