Never tried one and frankly.. I don't feel the need to have anything cleaner or more transparent than a good old stock Boss GE-7 or an MXR 10 band. BTW... the Boss and the MXR have been industry standards for probably 40 years at least. I do think the MAXON is a nice color though.
I like EQ's that don't color up my amp, Maxon will have my Splawn still sounding like a Splawn, that's a nice clean EQ. You never know somebody might want to try one out.
