Laney GH50L head?

I was looking at one of these online and it sounds like a pretty decent amp at a decent price. Does any one here have any experience with this amp. There are no dealers near me so a test drive is not an option. Any feed back would be appreciated.

My pops has a 100 Watt version that he digs. It was his number one before picking up a ENGL Powerball. I got to play it a bunch great amp with tons of gain on tap, and took pedals well. He also played a Marshall 1960A cab (pretty common) and it paired well with that as well.
