    NAD Stereo Tube Time!!! Rivera S120

    Picked this up today. Need to replace one pair of tubes but other than that it is clean.
    Rivera S120 head.
    60 Watts per channel.
    Need to find a manual and a foot switch. I want to see if this makes a good paring with my GT-8 using the stereo outputs to
    the loop.

      Not much stereo will come from one 4x12, you're gonna need more spread to appreciate it fully

        yep I plan to run into 2 cabs about 8-10 meters apart to really appreciate the effect. I just wanted to share a pic here so I posted this.

            I have been using one since 1990 and have sung its praises here for years!!!

            OP - enjoy it. it is a KILLER amp. I have bought MANY other amps over the years and NONE have satisfied me as much as my S120.....

            Here is the obligatory pic of my Rivera stash:


            GEAR:

            some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

            some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

            and finally....

            i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

              oh, you can order a footswitch from Rivera - I think it's $129.....

                    Yep!!! hahaha, I have one with the original foot controller. I LOVE it!!

                          I just got my new tubes today and wow is this thing great.
                          Stereo effects in the loop with cabs on either side of the room is fun!!
                          Only got a short time with it but holy sheet....

                            I found the perfect cab with matching carpet!!! It has a bad speaker so I have one channel in to 2 speakers and one channel into 1 speaker. There is an impedance selector for each channel so it works well.
