My laptop has Windows 10, I just do forums and reading, email on my laptop, my desktop has all my recording, amplitube 3 ect, ect and it's still on Vista and it works so I'm leaving it alone. I learned a long time ago to stay a few yrs behind on operating systems for that very reason.

When you guys say "play along" what exactly do you mean? What's preventing you from playing a song with any media player at the same time?
OS/2 Warp? Haha, man.... that was some years ago. That was actually a very good OS. I recently gave up on my linux box at work. I'm getting involved in too many administrative things and people kept sending me word files with track changes, etc., so I finally went all Windows.

Joe, it's not just Toneport, it's Windows 10. I can't get any mp3s to play when I have the Focusrite Scarlett plugged in either, exactly as it was with the Toneport. Clearly some driver conflict. Kinda feel like I blew £65 on something I didn't need now. The only reason I wanted to upgrade the Toneport was because recording anything soft like an acoustic guitar or mandolin was often ruined by pops.

Well, I can play along with any CD through iTunes or Windows Media Player, but I am getting the "pops" here and there through Windows 10 now trying to play my guitar... something definitely got fucked up with the audio. CDs and anything else in my media player sound fine, though.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Cool. Just uploaded the new driver. I had Windows 7 before, went straight to 10. Doesn't seem that anything's changed with the new drivers, but I don't seem to have any popping/stuttering at the moment while playing. I do have my computer set up to one pair of speakers, and the Line 6 is set up with another set of speakers going through a 1/8" to 1/4" adapter into the Toneport headphone jack.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Nice. I still can't upload any music to it, but playing along with any music files through the media player, CD, or iTunes works fine for me. I really don't want to through the hassle of going back to Windows 7 again. I'll deal with how it works for now.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

I always liked Windows 8 anyway.
