          I feel the need to resurrect this thread. The M-1000 is such an awesome amp. If I only had somewhere I could use it.
          Coupled with a Peavey 5150 4 x 12 cab its just insane. The punch, the power, the clarity. Its such a MANS amp.
          There aren't many amps that could compete with this amp live. I am literally going deaf in my basement because I just can't stop turning it up.
          Sure.. its a one trick pony and basically a single channel amp with footswitchable stages of gain but its just insane. The attenuator actually lets you have fun at home at whisper quiet levels. The Master I footswitch is an adjustable footswitchable solo boost. If you want super clean and super gain.. look elsewhere. This isn't an amp for girlymen.

          Throw any boost you can think of in front of it and it sounds even better. Tube Screamers, OD808, LPB1, OCD, whatever. Even the loop is friendly.
          I feel so bad that I haven't been able to use this amp live since I owned it. I should just leave it in the car and when I go to see a local band that has a guitar player who has crappy sound I can come to the rescue like a sonic super hero.
