Reinhardt has been a very high end boutique builder for some time. Lots of YT videos of his amps.
I was hoping to find a video of this particular amp being demo'd but I haven't found one yet.
The one is the first 100 watt Plexi Bob Reinhardt built
JD Simo, Mark Knopfler and other artists use his amps.
Picked it up today and gave it some playing time.
Really nice sounding amp I will say.I would be afraid to crank it past 5 in the house because it would knock pictures off the wall.
Very nice cleans on both channels but voiced very differently which is very useful. Very quiet running amp too.
#1 of 3 ever made so I heard.
Has 4 EL 34 Svetlana winged C's in the power section and Mullard reissues in the preamp.
The cab has 4 WGS 65's and they tend to not be real efficient speakers but the head being 100 watts they sound fantastic with a real plexi vintage flavor.
I'd never heard of them but I'm sure it's nice. I'm pretty new to the plexi world, having just recently bought a 1959hw, and am finding out what all the fuss is about regarding these old four holers. Are you using an attenuator or going straight into the cab? There's no way in hell I could play this at home without one. I'm using a BC Unleash and it really seems to work well. Enjoy the amp, very cool!
No effects loop but my pedal board sounds great right thru the front.
Yeah its insanely loud.
The good thing is the cab is loaded with WGS 65's which really work great with the 100 watt head.
Has a vintage and modern switch on the back so you have some variation if you want it.
Nails the vintage plexi tone.
Last time I had time to spend with it I jumped the channels and tweaked on it. Very fat and gnarly.
Sounds great with a single coil guitar too. My 3 tite 81 SD charvel sounded so good thru this amp.
The amp is super quiet running which surprised me.
I haven't put any of my attenuators on it yet
I have a Weber Mass which is only rated for a 50 watt amp and a Marshall power brake that is rated for 100 watt amps.
May give the power brake a try on it.
