Best Midi Pedal for JMP-1 & G Major 2

I am running a Marshall JMP-1 Preamp into a TC electronics G major 2 and now need a Midi switcher to change presets on both. Any suggestions ? Anyone used Peak.

I also have an Digitech RP1000 that I was using for FX only with the JMP-1 for Overdrive and a Blackstar HT-50 head for clean and also power amp through an Orange single 12 PPC112. This setup sounded pretty good but way too many cables involved for set-up.

I used Roland GFC-50/Boss FC-50 with mine. Simple, solid.

When I had a JMP-1 I used a Midibuddy.

I use a GFC-50 as well. But there is no 'best' it all comes down to what you need, how you like the feel etc.

If the RP1000 has pedal buttons and treadles, that's your MIDI controller. You don't have to use the sounds, just map it to whatever you want the JMP and G-Maj to do. However, individual effects on/off might not be possible.

I'd recommend the ART X-15 for the dual treadles at least.

An old Roland FC-200 might be an idea

But if it's just about changing presets, any basic midi pedal can do the trick

Rocktron midi-mate is probably a good choice.

A Ground Control Pro can be had pretty cheap used. Usually under $250 and does Program Change and Continuous Control. Plus you can name your patches.

I use a Disaster Area DMC 8 with my JMP-1 and G force.
