DC Brick power supply question

Not sure what the best practice is but are you supposed to unplug the DC Brick when you're not using it? I used to have it plugged into a power strip that I would switch on and off but now I need that power strip on all time for other electronics. Unplugging only take a few seconds but it is a PITA. I'm thinking of adding a cord switch to the line as an option.

I'm not aware of any ill effect from leaving it on but your idea of adding a switch just for it is a good one.

If it draws current when plugged in (even if its turned off) yes unplug it
