Cabinet ???

I have a Marshall AVT50 amp, and I want to get a cabinet, 4x12 of course, and I have a question. On the back of my amp, the speaker input says "4ohm minimum". Does this mean I can run any cabinet, as long as it's at least 4ohms, or do I have to have a cabinet that is specifically 4ohms? Almost all of the cabs I've been looking at are 8ohms, or are switchable for 16ohms. What the hell does all that mean? All I want is a cabinet, and this isn't helping me any.

At 4ohm, your cabinet would drag the maximum amount of current from your amp, and work your amp the hardest.

Any cabinet 4ohm or greater will be fine.
