Re: POST YOUR SETUP
My rig is pretty simple and was very cheap,
Amp: CRATE GX65
Effects: BOSS Metal Zone distortion, DOD FX9 Delay, Morely Pro Series Wah.
Wireles: Very cheap Nady ( it works very well, I havn't heard not one "10-4 good buddy" go through my amp and it hasn't cut out on me and has a very good range. I can play it through two closed doors in my house.
Guitar: My beloved JACKSON DK2 in trans blue with a Seymour Duncan Distortion humbucker.
This is the rig I decided works best for me. I have tried many tube amps and rack and other bells and whistles, but this simple cheap rig just does it for me and impresses the pants off of some of my friends who have JCM 800's, DSL's and Mesa amps.
My future stuff..........A 4X12 cab, GMW Custom axe, chorus, flanger, phaser and pitch shifter pedals and a Marshall AVT 50 half stack. I like the AVT for clean and bluesy rock stuff. My small CRATE still kicks more tail than the AVT.
