Single Recto mods

Well, looks like I'm dropping my single recto off next monday to my favorite amp tech for a bias mod. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Hopefully Troy will still have his, and we can compare and contrast if there is a JCF fest in texas. Mine sounds TONS better with the 5881s, but bias right now is 23ma... should be at least 30. *!* It was 21ma with the stock 6L6GCs.

what is the tone difference when running EL34's in a Dual Recto? Does anybody run theirs this way? If so, can you describe the difference between the two? Thanks
