    Boss GT-3 / Digitech RP-7 or something else...

    Any suggestions or comments on these machines?
    Or if you have other multi-fx suggestions.

    Reason why I want 1 of those? They're cheap...
    I'm talking about used gear.
    Would be nice with some input so I can tell Santa which one to get for me [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img]

    I have a GT-3. Very nice, the difference between it and the new model (GT-5?) are marginal. Decent amp modeling (...a couple are noisy, though), VG effects, etc. Highly recommended for a multi-effects piece.

      I have a GT-3 and I love it for direct recording or playing through a PA. The Boss effects in it are great with a tube amp, but the modeling is much better direct. You can set a go-zillion preset's so you can go from song to song, part to part. Good stuff in my opinion.

        Seems to be good value for the money.(GT3)
        What do they cost used in US? Here in Sweden it's about $300-350.
        I'm also thinking about Yamaha DG-Stomp which is $250 new.

              If you get a GT-3/5/or 6. Don't forget to check out the GT-3 web site. A ton of info on the best way to level match or connect to your amp.
