Ok hear's the deal.I am running a lee jackson head into 2 mesa 4-12 rect cabs.I want to add a pedal either a overdrive or some kind of boost to really give it a kick in the ass.My question is what brand of pedal and what type do I need to do this.Any suggestions would be appreiciated.Thanks alot paul.

i'd start with a ibanez tube screamer or something similar (boss ds-1/od-1) from there i'd look into the pre-amp type pedals like the mesa v-twin or the soldano gto supercharger..try an eg also that might help...from there if you can't find your sound try different tubes in the amp (hotter output) or different makes of tubes (GT, mesa, ruby, svetlana, electro harmonics, ect) you should be able to get what your looking for with these i'm sure there are other pedals out there if i think of any i'll post
