My Bassman 100 (OK, stop laughing) needs new tubes in a bad way... I read through some of the threads about the Svetlanas, Siemens, GTs, etc. Any other recommendations? Hopefully, in the near future, I'll be replacing it with a THD Univalve.

Univalves RULE! We can start a Univalve club in the JCF after you get yours - I love mine. hehehe.
regarding tubes... if you're just going to get rid of it soon, get whatever tubes fall into your price range and be done with it. Svets aren't bad. if you're keeping the amp, think about something a bit more spendly like NOS Sylvanias, the new GT 6L6GCs, etc...
