I'm sure I'm already a member of this forum, ah well, here goes. I have a Trace Elliot 7210H bass amp and the green glow on the front works for about 2 seconds then goes out. Has anyone else had this problem?

You have a bad LED capacitor. what happens is when you power it up...it charges the cap, and lights the led...after a while the cap loses it's charge, and the led poops out. I had this happen on a buddy's Ampeg Lee Jackson head (with the lighted logo). A capacitor is like a tiny battery...some of them can go bad, and lose the ability to hold a charge.
That sounds like what your problem is.
