Just finished my latest amp (ok, it's being moved to a nicer chassis, but electronically it's done) and was thinking about putting it up for sale. Here's the features:
Hotrodded Fender Tweed Champ circuit with:
Oversized transformers (more voltage and wattage/current capacity)
Turret board construction (like vintage Hiwatts and Marshalls)
teflon/silver wiring
all tube sockets mounted to chassis
can run KT88,EL34,6L6,6550 power tubes
tube rectifier
one preamp tube (12ax7)
diode clipping switch (like having a built in tube screamer, basically)
It isn't in a typical head, pics to follow soon - Chassis is gloss white with black wooden sides, it looks cool, trust me [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
Just curious what you guys think ballpark I might be able to get for something like this. I'm not too sure if I'd start building them as a full time job or anything, I just love to build amps and if I keep everything I build, I'm going to have a TON of amps eventually. It would make more sense for me to build em, sell what I build and maybe make a few bucks, then build something else, etc.
