Ebow with lots of distortion?

will this work and will it sound good?
id seems fun to play with to me, but i dont want alot of feedback or something...
i like the idea of a heavily distorted violin sound, i often play with my volumeknob on my guitar to remove the picksound but an Ebow will work better i guesss

I still have mine.I would use it live on a couple of songs to add something different. I play really loud,and never had a problem with it. It sounds really cool with delay and a harmonizer.
