I need some ideas for an effects unit (rack) - Help a foolio out!

I find myself once again researching rack effect units- I would like to know how noisy the units are- How transparent are they - And any other info - I would like some opinions on the following stuff:

Yamaha REV7 - 2 space unit - Quality? I see these in a lot of P.A. racks

Yamaha SPX90 & 90II - 1 space unit - Noisy?

Lexicon PCM 80 & 81 - Worth the cash?

T.C. Electronics G-Force - Best multi-effects?

Korg SDD line - 1000, 2000, etc.

I'm just kickin' ideas around foolios- Head Foolio

What was wrong with the G Major?

SPX 90?? yeah, limited and noisy by todays standards. Lots around in racks though...

I went through 2 G-Majors and both broke down- Not gonna try a third- Ned

Holy smokes... Wonder what that's about. Seems a lot of people have them... I've been wanting one too... Doh...

My intellifex has been great... Now I'm wondering...

They just quit working? Used ones or new?

Both new-

I get the first one home - learned how to use it and programmed it for hours - shut it off and when I turned it back on the backlight was the only thing that lit up - all the information on the display was gone - I tried everything and non go -

I take it back and get #2 - Everything was fine for days - Did one show and it wasn't changing patches through my midi controller - it would change and then it wouldn't change - i manually dialed in one of my presets and left it like that all night - BUMMER!

There will be no #3!

Wow, that's really bogus. Sorry to hear. That's like the first bad thing I've ever heard about them...

Hey foolius,I have the gforce and nothing else compares.The delays are insane and all the effect are of great quality.Yes it a little pricey but you will never need to replace it.Thats jmho.
