Hey, k I have a 15 W Marshall ministack that has a head + 2 10" speakers. I also have a 40W tube combo that can power cabs. I'd like to plug in the ministack speakers to play around with some sound but i really wanna make sure i get the right ohmages matched up so as to not totally f$^#ck up my tube amp.

on the head of the ministack it says: "16 ohn loudspeaker outputs" under these 2 outputs and on the tube amp i got the 2 plugs for speaker out as well plus a switch for either 8 ohms or 16 ohms. Right now its on 16 ohms with just the combo's own speaker plugged in.

So would i have to just plug one of the speakers into the other loudspeeaker output of the tube amp and switch it to 8 ohms?

    Thanks

Sounds like the speakers for the mini-stack are 16 ohms and the combo's speaker is 16 ohms as well. To run any pair (ie; the combo speaker and one mini-stack speaker, or two mini-stack speakers without the combo speaker) set the ohm switch to 8 ohms and you'd be good to go.
