If the Plus model is as dark sounding as my older version Ultra was, then a brighter speaker would be recommended for sure. I would do Classic 30`s over G12T`s. I like both but the G12T`s are very scooped in the mids.

I have some older G12T-75s made in the UK and I don't find them mid scooped nearly as much as the newer MIC models. The only problem is that they need to be loud to sound their best. If you do want to try the G12Ts, check out the UK models. I got mine for $50 each.

...or two governors in a cross pattern with the swamp and texas... or two WGS Retro 30... I'm sure the new speakers will be awesome for awhile over these crate combo pukes
I owned a badass Randall 4x12 cab loaded with Celestion V30's... never fell in love with it.
