I like Boss myself. I've been using both a DD-2 and DD-3 for years. I tried out some other pedals before buying the DD-3, and nothing available at the time impressed me much. I haven't tried the new Digitech pedals tho...

For a stomper, the DD-5... the tap and consistancy, really nice for a stomp.

There's so much out there..you want delay time or "vintage" tape tonality and sound on sound type features.. it's not just delay anymore.
