      Re: PS-25 Pedal board

I was looking for a good pre-made pedalboard not long ago, and, after looking at them all, decided to get a Pedal Pad. It's a very sturdy wood box frame with 2 tiers of different sized metal "pads" you can put your pedals on, as well as it comes with a power supply module and a "patch bay" module. The 2 tiers of pads for your pedals (as well as the modules) can be installed at an angle, which I find is much more comfortable than playing with them flat on the floor, and easier to get to everything. This system also has a wooden frame cover that attaches, giving you a nice, big, well-protected case to carry around. If you attach the pedals with velcro onto the metal pads, just put on the cover, and easily take it with you. They make a regular and an XL (extra large) version if you need more pedal room, and also have a "rack" option which allows you to put rack preamps or effects right there on the board...which could reduce the number of on-floor cords if you, say, had a preamp and put pedals in its effects loop. The thing works great for me so far.
