Nope neddi - it's been a frozen hell here for nearly a week - haven't made it to fedex yet. I'm going to try and get there early next week. A 320hp firebird with a 6 speed manual and wide tires SUCKS. I have trouble enough crawling to work in this crap.

i heard from a guy that works at marshall that high gain comes from double sided soldered microboards. what is your knowlage about that?

double sided soldered microboards? Sounds like flux capacitors to me...

Tube amps generate gain by cascaded gain stages. Some amps generate distortion with diodes. I've never heard anything about double sided soldered microboards. I think your friend may be screwing with you.
