I was surfing the web and saw a company that made its own speakers and cabinets called Madison. They look really cool for the money. Has anyone ever seen or played thru any of their stuff? I beleive the speakers were called Madison Symphony 85 Watt speakers. I can get a 2x12 for $265 Shipped. Anybody [img]graemlins/help.gif[/img] Jack.

I ran across that site when I was cab shopping last year. Seem to remember a few mixed reviews, check harmony central. I ended up going with avatar instead. -

Thanks Dave, I wish they had a 2x12 Cabinet, that`s all I nead. It sais they are made of some kinda MDF Board or something, is that Particale Board or Plywood? I would rather have Plywood for strength. Jack.Comment

I was going to buy an Avatar 2x12 with the Celestion V-30`s, but they dropped the Black carpet one with the Metal Grill, unless you want an over/under model, I want the side by side model. The ultimate would be Black Tolex with Black metal grill, in that case it looks like the Carvin Legacy 2x12 and it has Vintage 30`s in it!! It is $100 more than the Madison though, is Tolex better than heavy duty black carpet? Jack.Comment

Check out these. They sound killer too! They have a real growl to them. I tried two out back to back with different heads and compared them to a Marshall 1960 and 2000 cabs. http://www.behringer.com/02_products...x.cfm?id=BG412
$269 and $329 US! The more expensive "offset surround" one is voiced different. Sounds darker, but I like them both. I'm getting one soon and Steve has one already.Comment
