    Re: ok

UMmmmm if you mean do the speaker jacks have a lightning bolt on them. Yes if its a peavey. Most amp manufacturers will use the speaker symbol PEavey uses both the speaker symbol and the Lightning bolt depending on the generation of the amp. The power tubes will be taller usually. What kind of amp is it you're wondering about? that would help a bit to clearify. Also the two jscks for the speakers are so you can run two 4x12 cabinets off of one head in paralel out of the head. Not all cabs have two jacks and are sometimes wired in series at the jack instead of paralel. Just match the impedance of the head. (there should be a switch or lever or something on the back of the amp with the greek omega symbol by it. Thats the impedance symbol. It should say 16,8,4. Put the selector in the proper possition for the cabinet or cabinets being used.
(i.e. If using one Marshal JCM1960A cab its 16 ohms set switch to 16 if using two jcm900 cabs A and B its 8 ohms set switch to 8 ohms and plug each cabinet into one jack apiece.
