Are speaker cables stereo?

I need another stereo cable for the setup I'm using for recording right now and I'm wondering if I could just run to the jam hall and grab my speaker cord from the back of my head...are speaker cords stereo?

They CAN be, but yours is probably not.
A standard speaker cable has 2 leads with
1/4" mono 2-conducter phone plugs - one positive, one negative or ground.
