Soldano Snakeskin 4x12

I have a chance to buy one of these local, what are they worth? Anyone? Supposedly, it's in excellent shape with the exception of a small scratch on the back..

I need to know ASAP if possible.

Same price range as a Marshall 4x12. $500 tops.
And the Soldano speakers sound damn good, too.

You should bring your amp to the store and try it.
I had 2 Soldano cabs one with Vintage 30's and another one with Soldano speakers.
I used Soldano HR50+ ,Mesa Triaxis/2:90 and Bogner Extacy with these cabs and the one with Vintage 30's sounded better with all these amps.

Yup, definatley a "your mileage may vary" thing. I don't like Vintage 30s, so to MY ear, the Soldano speakers sounded better.

Well, I can get one for $400 locally, so I'll have a look, if it's mint, or close, I'll consider it. I thought they'd be worth a bit more tho, so I guess it's not one of those "garage sale finds" after all.
