The TS-9 and TS-10 are basicly the same pedal. They're just different series in the Ibanez line - the 9's were made before the 10's. The 9's are all metal and the 10's have a fair amount of plastic (heavy duty stuff, but still plastic). The TS-9s bring big $$$'s in the vintage market and the TS-10s don't.

im thinking that might be my answer too. It makes a lot of sense. The local guitar shop has like 12 TS9s i think in. They got a whole bunch of them for some reason. Im going to test the eq and then build from there. thanks a lot and sorry for all the hassle
