Hey guys! I’m new to the forum, and have come across a jackson reference 50 head and had a couple questions and was hoping someone here could help me out. The amp is super awesome but there is one thing that bugs me, the channel switching. When I change channels either via footswitch or with the switch on the amp, the volume drops for a second and then comes back up. Is there any kind of modification I can do to fix this? And my other question is, can the amp run other tubes like 6550, kt88 or kt66’s? There’s definitely enough room, but will it damage the amp to run other tubes? Thanks guys!
