Yeah, since I was born in the 80's I missed out on all the great gear so I'm stocking up on vintage gear. What I love and am searching for are some 80's BC Rich USA Guitar, some USA Charvels, the 5150 Kramer Baretta(screw MusicYo),some vintage Ibanez TubeScreamers, but most importantly what I really want is an 80's ProCo Rat Distortion Pedal. From what I hear, they beat all distortion pedals and the new one's don't match up to them(although the new Turbo Rat rocks). But like a Charvel San Dimas, I can't find them anywhere. Unless I go to EBAY but I'd only get one that says buy it now. If anyone here has one for sale or knows of a dealer that has vintage effects, could you fill me in? I'm trying to get that Swedish Gothenburg sound out of a Peavey 5150. I tried out my friends Rat through his 5150 head and we got that Meshuggah, Arch Enemy and Entombed metal tones.
