Guys, for those out there who own a Rocktron Voodu valve... if you have made a program that you like, please share it in this thread!... I am dying to hear from you!...
I would like to see if somebody has tried to get the 80's hair band sound. I am working on this right now...
I am looking for:
- Very compressed
- not too distorted
- Very middlish
- Lots of harmonics
- Very clear note definition... like throw a full 6-string open chord at the thing within your riff and be able to stay out of the mud!... (challenging I think)
- Good match for an EMG 81...
In specific I am listening to "little fighter" by White Lion and trying to get the clean sound and the lead.
Also I have problems programing something like tell me... the harmonics are brutal and Vito uses open chords for the riffs... I tend to get muddy...
