what is that egnater anyway? my bandmate has an IE4 and it doesn't look anything like that crazy ass thing. man that's bright.

That's one of the pre-Rocktron IE4s. I think there are two different colored faceplates out there.

I'm surprised that is commanding the dollar amount it is. I mean you can get CAE 3+SE's for 1200 usually. Is the IE4 worth close to 2 grand? Nothing against the IE4. I heard it's a great preamp but I don't remember them pulling the same kind of cash a Bogner Fish would. People probably aren't reading the whole auction description and think the Fish is included.

The IE4 should pull about the same as the CAE preamp from what I've seen: $1000-1200. (Ironicly, that's about the same as what the Egnater TOL100 heads go for.)
