    Well i guess it depends on if some potential buyers look at it. A Bogner Fish (especially for this kind of money) isn't a piece of gear you sell at a normal guitar player.
    I guess the problem is that there are just 200 out there and it seems there will never be more (since Bogner stated they don't build any more).
    I doubt that this preamp is twice as good as a CAE but it sells for twice because of it's rarity.

    The last one i see went for $2,5K.
    There was one some time ago on german ebay which sold for a little over $1000. But soon after that it was sold for over $2k on american ebay. Makes you know exactly why the buyer bought in first place [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

      that guy has been trying to sell that for awhile....they are nice preamps, but not worth anywhere near the price they are getting now....i used to have one....but i sold it after i got my pre-rock egnater preamp....way more versatile than a fish

        Yeah, soft market for high end pieces lately.

        I've always wondered about the Fish units. But, way out of reach. Bad enough I bought a CAE3+se. I'm still seekinmg something that will come close to the CAE for less dough. Nothing really has yet though.
